Earlier this year, Director Lisa Cooper was thrilled to join a delegation of Occupational Therapy Australia members along with CEO Samantha Hunter and Chief of Staff Lea Rawlings to meet with Senator Jordon Steele-John – advocating for OTs and the Future of the NDIS. At this roundtable discussion, key issues were raised including the fast-moving NDIS reforms, Needs Assessment Approach, Pricing, Foundational Supports, workforce pressures and other key issues. Inside Out was honoured to have a seat at the table – to advocate not only for OTs but for the children, teenagers, families and communities who work with us.
