Do I need a referral for a GP to commence Occupational Therapy?
No, as a private practice a referral is not necessary. For information regarding obtaining a referral to access Medicare rebates, please refer to Fees and Rebates.
How long are sessions?
Sessions run for 50 minutes, with 10 minutes after each appointment required for therapist documentation time. Caregivers are welcome to leave if appropriate however we ask that you arrive back 20 minutes prior to the session finishing so the OT can update you on your child’s progress.
How many sessions will my child need?
As every child is unique, so too are their goals. Some children may only need a few sessions, while others require ongoing treatment to reach their goals. Generally, we recommend booking fortnightly treatment sessions on a regular rotation and adjust where necessary.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Your Occupational Therapist has set aside an hour for your appointment. Please provide notice if you are unwell or unable to attend. Cancellation fees apply.

Do you offer out of hours appointments?
Our office hours are 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday. To allow adequate documentation time, typically our first appointment of the day is 9:30am and our last is 3:30pm. Most appointments are within school/work hours. Any appointments offered outside of these times are up to the individual therapist’s discretion and are not to be assumed.
NDIS FAQ's
Do you see NDIS Participants?
While we are not a Registered NDIS Provider, we do see clients who are self or plan managed.
If my child is an NDIS participant, will the OT work towards the goals identified in the NDIS plan?
Yes, we adhere to the guidelines and prepare regular Progress Reports as required. Please share your NDIS plan with your OT at the first consultation so they can begin working towards these goals straight away.
How do I settle accounts for outreach services or NDIS invoices?
All invoices are required to be settled on the day of treatment. Caregivers and Caregivers are able to safely store credit card details on our system for automatic payment. This provides a safe and convenient way to make payment if payment cannot be made via phone or in person.
How do I settle accounts if I am Plan Managed?
Please advise our admin team or OT who your Plan Manager is and we will email invoices directly to them for payment.
