We are thrilled to share that our involvement in the OT Exchange conference held in Perth this June was a resounding success. The theme for this year’s conference was “Innovation,” and it provided a platform for us to explore and discuss the transformative potential of innovative practices in occupational therapy.
At Inside Out OT, we had the privilege of presenting on the advantages of longstanding, responsive, and relationship-based interventions for adolescents. Our presentation emphasised the crucial yet often overlooked stage of adolescence, marked by significant physical, psychological, and social changes, and showcased the benefits of providing long-term, responsive support to bridge the gap in services during this critical period.

Sharing our work at the conference was incredibly rewarding, and we received an enthusiastic response from our peers. It was inspiring to learn from other speakers who are equally passionate about advancing the field of occupational therapy.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the participants in our study; your contributions made this experience possible. The insights and feedback we gathered will undoubtedly enhance our future practice.
In conclusion, the OT Exchange conference was an invaluable opportunity to showcase our work and connect with fellow professionals. We remain committed to promoting holistic wellbeing and equipping children and adolescents with the essential skills needed for a successful journey into adulthood.
Thank you to everyone who attended our session and contributed to the vibrant discussions. We look forward to continuing our innovative and impactful work in the field of occupational therapy.
Stay tuned for more updates and insights from Inside Out OT!
